Six-month pairings, matched by hand, free at both ends.
Two rounds a year. You say where you are, where you are trying to get to, and what you are avoiding. Somebody reads that and pairs you with a person who has already done it, rather than an algorithm pairing you on job title.
Mentors get a short brief and a suggested cadence. There is no curriculum, because the most useful thing a mentor does is answer the question the mentee is embarrassed to ask their manager, and that has never needed a framework.

A public list, so nobody can say they could not find one.
Searchable by topic, by city, and by whether the person has spoken before. Anyone in the community can add themselves, and adding yourself does not require a showreel or three previous stages.
